The long grass in the maasai mara game reserve is keeping most of the herbivores outside the reserve where the grass is kept short by the maasai livestock. This is important to the plains game as they can spot the predators at a distance. The giraffes are exempted from this because of their height.
On full day game drive Ferdinard and his guests came across a tower of giraffe that posed for them when they stopped infront as if they were photogenic giving all sort of profiles.
