Browsers of Serengeti.
The masai giraffes are a common feature on our game drives. Usually they see us long before we see them as their height enables them to do that. They are the tallest browsers (Feeding on leaves) of the serengeti bushlands. Their finger-like tongue enables them to grasp softer twigs off the trees and shrubs. On this particular day, they were the first animals we came across on our game drive. There are different races but the same type of Giraffe in east africa, but the serengeti one is known as the masai giraffe.
