A large group of zebras are sometimes found in the area near our camp. they are some of the main herbivores of the serengeti grasslands. About 1000 of these animals have been roaming the area near the camp, but when there are predators around, they disappear for a while. The type of zebras that occur in the serengeti and mara ecosystem is the common zebra.
