Leopard strolling in the grasslands.
Most of the times when the largest spotted cat in Africa is seen in the wild, it is usually on the trees, but they are also very good at doing their activities on the ground. They would follow prey over short distances before pouncing on them, thereafter their prey would be stored up on the trees for safe- eating, away from other predators. Today, our ranger Deus and his guests spotted a big female leopard walking on the vast Serengeti grasslands which at the moment are quite tall in various places due to the recent heavy rains. It was not shy at all and they followed her for a little while before it disappeared onto some rocky outcrops.
