Mother elephant suckling. 9 November 2012
We found a group of Elephants with their young in some open acacia woodlands on our way to the airstrip. One of the mothers had her baby suckling while at the same time she was keeping herself cool by flapping her ears. She was also trying to feed off some little plants below the trees.
