Lions hunt certainly as agroup , perhaps cooperatively and this is one of the reason why they live in prides.Young males remain in the pride until they are two or two and half when they are ousted from the pride to become nomadic until around five years when they are able to take over their own prides. The pride at Talek junction comprising of seventten individuals will defenitely pass through this but at the moment its well bonded that they spend most of their time together either patrolling the territory, hunting, playing or simply busking like when martin and his four guest found them relaxing together.
