Dear Pantaleo and Staff, Serengeti Bushtops is a beautiful sanctuary that awaits you .... hidden within the wildlife of the Serengeti. From our arrival to our departure we were treated like royalty, all of the staff were exceptional, attentive and ensured that our short break was restful and luxurious. Our game drives with Godson and John were breathtaking and spectacular. Eva and Mustafa our butlers were fantastic.The tents are very private and exquisite ... a massage and hot tub after a game drive is so relaxing. The fine dining is exquisite. Congratulations Pantaleo, you have an outstanding team that does provide an excellent service that surpasses all expectations. Attention to every detail does not go unnoticed. I wish you many years of success in the Serengeti, and would love to return again to be totally indulged. Asante sana. Louise.

A dream destination

We have recently returned home after a fabulous African holiday, and without doubt, the highlight for us was our time in the Serengeti, particularly our accommodation at Bushtops. It was like nothing we have ever experienced - so peaceful and amazingly beautiful. The \"tents\" were almost better than our house! The view was perfect, and the staff were fantastic. We had 3 wonderful days - Kokan and Baraka took us out for game drives, and we were able to see heaps of wildlife, the food was exquisite, and the fellows who served it were great - I learned lots of Swahili, thank you boys. Asante sana!We loved driving in to the camp after a long day out, and seeing Pantaleo welcoming us with his fly swisher thingy! It all seems like a dream now. Really, it was a perfect holiday. Thank you so much.

Fabulous from start to finish

I would just like say thank you to Georget and his fantastic staff at Mara Bushtops This is the most amazing place and I want to come back. Peter and Nelson our guide and spotter were simply the nicest people you could hope to meet, Peter\'s knowledge is awesome and we had a great time with them both on our game drives. Unforgetable visit

We just returned from our stay at Mara Bushtops and we cannot say enough about the entire staff. From the moment we set foot in the beautiful lobby area and were welcomed by George, to our cozy and beautiful tent, the wonderful meals and staff at the restaurant, the Masai escorts after dark, our superior safari driver Peter and Senu,and the rest of the staff. It's a paradise on Earth - Thank you

To all wonderful staff a huge thank you for letting us have an unforgettable time in the Serengeti Bushtops Camps the food has been wonderful, our game drive with Charles an unforgettable experience, Mustafa who has taken much care of us and the warm welcome we had by Mr. Pantaleo will all remain in our hearts! Unfortunately our stay was too short which needs that we come back very soon. It’s a paradise on Earth, and an unforgettable African experience! Thank you to the whole staff for everything.

Breathtaking

Our 2nd visit to bushtops,and it did not dissappoint. The staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble, even down to a second hot water bottle in the bed when it got cold! Food was excellent,waiting staff so lovely, very knowledgeable, helpful and interested in their environment. Guides were brilliant and did their utmost to give us the maximum thrill in the 5 days we were there. We went in sept, a good time to go as the migration was still around and had come out of the mara into the conservation area. The large male lion and his "girls" were so close to the camp on a night drive, we also saw the leopard up the tree with his kill a few meters from the camp. Along with all the different comings and goings at the salt lick. An absolutely breathtaking experience one not to be missed. We will go again next year and do the sister camp serengeti, but i think it will be a hard act to follow!!.

A piece of heaven

We thank everyone who looked after us so well at Serengeti Bushtops, especially Lawrence the Manager, who went the ‘extra mile’ for us. It is such a special place, a piece of heaven. We will be back to see you all. God Bless. The river crossing we will never forget.

Dear Georget and Staff, Serengeti Bushtops is a place of delightful respite in the midst of the wild that surrounds it. We were delighted early guests and so appreciated all the effort and attention given to us to ensure our gracious welcome and most hospitable visit. The tents are exquisite-a hot tub after a dusty game drive most refreshing and the lounge/bar area with outside campfire allowed us to feel at home and as if we were family. Our time at the Mara Bushtops was 3 days of pure luxury and unforgettable experiences

We stayed at the Mara Bushtops in August as part of our honeymoon and we cannot begin to express what an amazing place this is! Pictures just do not do it justice, it's absolutely out of this world!! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and our butler Frederick made sure we had everything we could want (right down to a hot water bottle in the bed at night and a hot tub ready for us when we got back from the game drive!) The food is to die for, and the setting is obviously stunning! Our game drives were so much fun! I had no idea we would get so close to the animals! Our ranger Philip and spotter Jackson made the experience even better with their wealth of knowledge on the animals and the Mara, it was an absolute delight spending our days with them! Our time at the Mara Bushtops was 3 days of pure luxury and unforgettable experiences and we will definitely be coming back!

I cant wait to return!!

I stayed at Mara Bushtops for 4nts in July & it was over & above anything I could of drempt of...the camp was amazing, the staff friendly & nothing was too much trouble for them, the food was truely 5star & the game drives were also amazing, seeing all the animals in their own environment was just perfect!!!! I cant wait to return!!

I had undevided attention from all staff

Safari was my ultimate dream holiday and when I first started to look at brochures the choice was fantastic but one of the main reasons I chose this camp was, a single traveller, it was a small camp with all the luxuries and values I beleive in and due to it's size I thought I would meet like minded travellers. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, the camp was extremely quiet during my stay in May, only 1 other couple for 2 days during my week stay. I must STRESS that I think I was fortunate that it was so quiet, I had undevided attention from all staff who ensured all my expectations of my dream holiday were more that met. From the standard of the tent, including my butler, Pauline, who ensured my hot tub was at the correct temperature!! to the restaurant/kitchen staff and quality of food, Daniel and Senna, my guide and spotter who completed the experience by spotting all the animals and who got me sooo close it was amazing, every day was built around what I wanted to do and when, unlike a lot of tours where set times must be adhered to. Brochures can sometimes give you a false impression and lead to disappointment on arrival, Mara Bushtops is BETTER than it looks in the brochure. Everything about this camp is excellant, I can not rate it highly enough, it certainly made my dream holiday a reality and an experience I will never forget, I just hope I get an opportunity to revisit. Highlight in our travellers career

Dear Friends, As intensive travellers throughout the years and all over the world, you can imagine how many hotels, camps, clubs, etc, my wife and me had the opportunity to discover and experience, But our stay at Mara Bushtops. will remain as a real highlight in our traveller’s career. The luxury of course, but also and especially your staff, each of them keeping daily involved in what will remain , not as a simple stay, but as a real experience Smile, disponibility, pleasure in making pleasure, that will be forever in our memory. We cannot remember the name of everybody we have been especially in contact with, but we’ll never forget David, Lucas, Frederick, and of course the omnipresent Georget. The Perfect Honeymoon!

We stayed at Mara Bushtops as part of our honeymoon after having married just before Christmas. During our honeymoon we visited Dubai and Mauritius as well as Kenya but neither of these two countries came close to equalling our wonderful experience in the Masai Mara!

This was the best holiday that I ever expereinced

I was there from the 30th December 2009 until the 2nd January 2010. This was the best holiday that I ever expereinced and it is difficult to explain in any written form as to the hospitality of Georget and his team! From being collected at the airstrip until being dropped off is an experience that must be lived through! We were not loaded into the white vulture kombi's but collected - with welcome drinks - in an open 4 x 4 vehilce. This mode of transport really gave you the closeness to the animals. The game drivers - Daniel and also David - have an intimate knowledge of all the animals and could explain to you exactly how the live and operate in the Mara. The old year eve's dinner was something that very few 5 star hotels - and I have been around the globe a bit - would be able to achieve, and this in the middle of the bush! It is just a pity that I am not a writer, but being a cold financial guy all that I can say that staying at the Mara Bushtops is certainly woth every dollar spent! I will be back and especially with the Bushtops opening in the Serengetti one would be able to spend a couple of days in the Mara and then move down to the Serengetti. Memories that will last forever!

Stayed at Mara Bushtops 15th-20th March for the Kenyan leg of our Honeymoon. It was a stunning setting and left us with memories that will last forever. The food and service at the restaurant was excellent, always a happy smile and warm welcome at mealtimes. The 'tent' was a touch of luxury under canvas and on our return from the days game drives, the hot tub was especially welcome. A nice touch was finding a hot water bottle in the turned down bed on retiring at night. Special mention for our game drive guides, Japhet and Joseph, who were knowledgable, friendly and a pleasure to spend the day with. We saw the Big 5, all in the same day. Thank you to all the staff. The game drives were out of this world

Mara Bushtops is bettet than it looks on this website. We stayed here form 28th of June until the 1st of July and we wished we had stayed longer. Everything about this camp is perfect, it is small with excellent personal service form every member of staff. The "Tent" was amazing and so was the service from our Butler who look took care of us. The game drives were out of this world. Our driver Japhet and spotter Joesph were excellent. We got to see so many animals and took really good photographs. The food in the restaruant was just lovely, the chef and waiters made you feel so relaxed and very welcome at every meal time. We had such an unforgetable honeymoon with memories that will last forever. We can not remember everyones name but would like to Thank you all for the most amazing time of our lives.
